CEM13/ MI7 host, the United States, announced the date and location for next year’s Clean Energy Ministerial — Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in September 2022! 

The announcement took place at a US Center event at COP26 on the role of CEM and MI in action to combat climate change. Other announcements include: the official handoff from CEM12 host, Chile to the United States complete with a ”passing of the virtual baton” from Minister Juan Carlos Jobet to Secretary Jennifer Granholm and the announcement of the the CEM Preparatory Meeting in the first week of April 2021 in India by DG Bakre of India.
